Program/School Options:
Sylvia Kwan, principal at Educational Pathways, keeps thoroughly informed of schools and programs by being in contact with the school community: alumni, current students, faculty and staff, board of governors, parent’s association and parent network; annual reports, newsletters; and by visiting classrooms, attending open houses, school fundraising galas, and other events.
Being a former teacher, Sylvia also has a large network of colleagues she keeps in touch with regularly. The personal experiences of her wide network of parents also help her to develop a sense for the schools and programs.
Sylvia Kwan’s years of experience in, and passion for, child learning as well as teaching young children, has really helped shape her private practice. Through these years, Sylvia has gained the knowledge and experience of child development, special needs, second language learning, teaching and learning styles, social and gender related issues in learning, and curriculum and assessment methodologies and their relation to learning.
Sylvia Kwan takes her wealth of information as well as experience gained as a parent, teacher, consultant and life-long learner to help families make informed, educated, and objective decisions for their children. For further details, click here.
